About Andrew
Andrew is a Liberal Senator for South Australia.
He was previously elected to the South Australian Parliament in March 2014 and served as President of the Legislative Council from May 2018 until February 2020.
Andrew is a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia and the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. He is a member of the Law Society of South Australia.
Prior to entering Parliament, Andrew held senior leadership and executive positions in the financial services industry. This included serving as the Director of the International Centre for Financial Services at the University of Adelaide. He has also served on the national executive of the Trustee Corporations Association of Australia and on the compliance and investment boards of the Financial Services Council. Early in his career, Andrew worked as a lawyer in regional South Australia. Later in his career he specialised in superannuation, banking and finance law.
