About Cameron
Cameron Caldwell is the Federal Member for Fadden.
The Gold Coast has been Cameron’s home for over two decades, and he is proud to be raising his family in Hope Island with his wife, Lauren.
In 2006, at the age of 26, Cameron established Caldwell Solicitors in Hope Island. This experience allowed him to intimately understand the challenges faced by small businesses.
The Gold Coast, often hailed as the small-business capital of Australia, echoes the aspirations and struggles of many families striving for success—whether they are tradies, café owners, hairdressers, or butchers. Cameron’s personal journey in the private sector has instilled in him a profound appreciation for the hardworking individuals who form the backbone of the local economy.
From 2012 to 2023, Cameron had the honour of serving as a Gold Coast City Councillor where he helped to deliver job creating projects, like the Westfield Coomera Town Centre and Marine Precinct upgrades.
