About Carl
Carl Mutzelburg is the LNP candidate for Blair.
Carl has lived in the electorate of Blair for over 36 years with his family and is proud to call this area home.
Carl is a Business Manager and a Pastor with a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Business in Health Administration. Over the years Carl has founded and run companies including a primary produce company in the beautiful Somerset Region.
He has steered the direction, community volunteering and outreach of the church that he led and went on to found Catalyst Care, a nonprofit that has provided food parcels, flood relief and financial literacy programs.
Carl is a proud member of the Ipswich Rotary Club, a Clean Up Australia Day volunteer, an Ipswich Park 2 Park volunteer, a cricket umpire and has been involved in multiple high school breakfast and lunch programs.
Carl is a hands-on leader who steps up when the community needs help.
For too long Blair has been taken for granted by Labor. It is not getting the infrastructure or support needed for its rapidly growing population. Carl will fight and deliver on the much-needed infrastructure shortfall.
As a businessman, a community leader and a dad, Carl understands the pressures caused by inflationary spending, the housing affordability crisis, and out of control power bills.
Carl believes the Australia we want is still within our reach. He has the community mindset and skills to deliver for Blair.
