About Chris

Former small businessman Chris Parr is the Liberal candidate for Jagajaga. 

Chris was born and raised locally. He has a lifelong connection to the community in Watsonia where he and his wife Sarah have chosen to raise their three children.  

Chris is a passionate  volunteer.  He gives up his time for a number of local community organisations including his local school council, and is a leader of his children’s scout groups. 

Chris’s career began in the retail sector. He gained valuable management experience before starting his own small business in the landscaping industry in 2010, which he sold in 2023. 

Chris will focus on lowering the cost of living, easing Australia’s housing crisis, and securing affordable, safe and reliable energy to power Aussie suburbs.  

Chris will be a champion for the local community.
