About Henry

Henry Swindon is the LNP candidate for Moreton.

Henry grew up in Brisbane before joining the Army and serving Australia for over a decade. He now lives in Moreton, in the suburb of Oxley.

As an infantry officer, Henry served in Canberra, Townsville, and Brisbane. He deployed to Afghanistan in 2017.

After leaving the Australian Army, Henry went back to university to complete a Master of Business Administration at the University of Queensland. He then started a small charity that supports Australian troops overseas. Last year, he advised institutions on strategic cyber security, and, more importantly, married his beautiful wife.

Henry is proud to be Australian, but he is concerned by the increasing cost of living in this country. He wants to be part of a Liberal National Government that champions the ‘forgotten people’ of Moreton with sensible policy. If Australian families and small businesses are living within their means, then their government should too.

He knows how hard it is for younger working Australians to buy a home. Henry wants to give these Australians a strong voice in Parliament. Families in Moreton deserve stable housing, and he will champion Peter Dutton’s efforts to improve housing supply and fight out-of-control demand.

Australians deserve to feel safe in their homes and communities. He wants to leverage his Defence experience to improve community safety, and fix the recruitment, retention, and capability crisis facing the Australian Defence Force.

Moreton is a multicultural success story, and Henry believes these problems can be fixed by focusing on what unites the community. He is asking for votes at the next federal election to get Moreton and Australia back on track!

He encourages residents to call or email him to share what matters most in their suburb.
