About James
Former local Mayor and small-businessman James Trenery is the Liberal candidate for Indi.
James has advocated for communities across Indi, for more than a decade, as the former Mayor of Indigo Shire, and as the President of Business Wodonga.
James Trenery’s priorities are:
- protecting and preserving Indi’s prime farmland;
- lowering the cost of living; and
- easing Australia’s housing crisis to help revive the Australian dream.
James will stand up for small business. He and his wife Amanda run their own businesses and understand the pressure that business owners’ face under Labor.
In his spare time, James has volunteered with his local CFA brigade, Lions group, and the Wodonga RSL.
As a parent, he has volunteered for the local football, cricket and hockey clubs.
If elected, James Trenery will deliver for Indi as part of a Coalition Government committed to getting Australia back on track.
