About Jan

Jan Norberger is your local Liberal candidate for Pearce. 

The northern suburbs have been Jan’s home since his family first moved to Australia in 1982. He and his wife Mira are raising their family here. 

Jan’s served with the Royal Australian Air Force for six years as a Communications and Information Systems Controller. He reached the rank of Corporal and was honoured with an Officer Commanding Commendation. 

Jan has built a local business into a respected provider of training and recruitment services for the mining industry.  

He also worked with the Australian Medical Association to establish AMA College as a premium nursing college in the northern suburbs. 

From 2013 to 2017 Jan served as the State MP for Joondalup, securing critical funding for health services, sporting facilities, and major infrastructure projects.  

Jan is passionate about making Pearce an even better place to live, work, and raise a family.  

He understands the community’s needs. These include improving local health services, supporting local sporting and community facilities, and policies that strengthen the economy and create jobs. 

With first-hand experience in business, community service, and government, Jan is committed to delivering real results that improve daily lives.
