About Kimberley
Kimberley Washington is the LNP candidate for Lilley.
Kimberley brings a wealth of experience as a journalist, business owner, and community leader.
After beginning her career as a journalist in Queensland, Kimberley spent five years in Japan, working in international newspapers, magazines and television.
Returning to Shorncliffe, Kimberley and her husband have raised their three children in the northern bayside community for the past 25 years.
From 2013 to 2023, Kimberley owned and operated successful local businesses, including a thriving hairdressing salon. She is a hands-on leader and small business advocate.
Since 2017, Kimberley has served on the Sandgate Bayside Chamber of Commerce Executive.
She has volunteered with Zonta International, Meals on Wheels, and Surf Life Saving Queensland.
Kimberley is now a Regulatory Affairs Manager at a Brisbane-based advertising firm.
Kimberley is committed to creating opportunities, supporting small businesses, and fostering vibrant local communities.
