About Matt

Matt Moran is your local Liberal candidate for Bullwinkel. 

Matt’s family has been deeply connected to the community for generations. 

Matt was born in Kalamunda and raised in Boya. His grandparents ran a chicken farm in Mundaring, and his parents owned a small farm in Toodyay, where his father still lives. 

Education was central to Matt’s family. His father taught at Mary’s Mount Primary School in Gooseberry Hill, and his mother at Northam Senior High School. Matt spent his early years at Saint Anthony’s School in Greenmount. 

With experience across the military, media, and business, Matt understands the needs and aspirations of the community. He is committed to working hard every day to represent and serve the people of Bullwinkel. 

Matt has always been driven by a strong sense of duty. He served the nation in the Army as a Public Affairs Officer in East Timor and Afghanistan—experiences that instilled in him discipline, dedication, and a commitment to serving others.  

Matt is determined to represent every part of the community—not just a select few.  

He will listen to the concerns of residents and work to deliver solutions, as part of the Liberal team, that will ease living costs, make housing more affordable, tackle crime, and fight Labor’s live sheep export ban. 

Bullwinkel deserves a representative who will fight for its future. We cannot afford another three years of Labor. 

He is committed to continuing his service to Bullwinkel and to the nation. Together, Matt will work to create a brighter future for the community.
