Candidate for Hawke

About Simmone

Simmone Cottom is the Liberal candidate for Hawke.

Simmone is a Sunbury local through and through. She went to Salesian College and got her first job at the Big W. She continues to live in Sunbury and wants the best for our area.

Like so many Australians, Simmone juggled part-time roles on top of her full-time job so she could buy her Sunbury home. She knows this is a struggle that has worsened under Labor and is determined to help restore the dream of home ownership for our young people.

Simmone is ready to work for our community. She was a member of the youth Rotary group, Interact, and has volunteered for the Good Friday Appeal for the past 15 years. Simmone sang in ‘Divine Divas’, a local community choir.

Simmone is determined to make a difference. After she lost a loved one who struggled with mental health, she’s intent on securing more investment for mental health services.

For too long, Labor has taken Melbourne’s west for granted. That’s why Simmone is campaigning in every corner of the electorate – listening to residents in every part of Hawke, from Ballan to Bacchus Marsh, to Keilor, Bulla to Diggers Rest, Balliang, Melton, Eynesbury and Sunbury – so we can get the voice we deserve in Canberra.

If elected, Simmone will work hard to deliver for Hawke.
