About Trevor
Trevor Evans is the Liberal National candidate for Brisbane.
Trevor is a former MP who represented the electorate of Brisbane from 2016 to 2022.
For three years, Trevor was also the Assistant Minister for Waste Reduction and Environmental Management.
Prior to his career in politics, Trevor served as the CEO of the National Retail Association.
He worked as an economist in various roles including the ACCC, Seqwater and the Queensland Competition Authority.
During his 6 years in Parliament, Trevor was a champion of environmental sustainability. He brought his economic expertise to important reforms such as tax, industrial relations and circular economy laws.
Since 2022, Trevor has taken on leadership roles in the areas of environmental, recycling and product stewardship policy. He has also been Special Advisor to the board of the National Retail Association.
Trevor has remained closely connected to the local community and continued to advocate for people in Brisbane.
